Guidelines for Grants
The following suggestions are guidelines, which must be met for receiving/distributing funds raised by the Trumbull Rotary Club for worthy causes.
- If an award request is submitted that is clearly out of our approved guidelines it will promptly be denied in writing by the President to the person who made the request, if a reply is warranted.
- No awards will be made to other Rotary Clubs, including purchasing raffle or event tickets. Individual members are free to donate or purchase tickets from whomever they wish.
- No awards will be made to other public service organizations such as the Lions Club, Kiwanis, and the like.
- No awards will be made to groups that solicit nationally, such as for all of the medical causes, national VFW, etc.
- No awards will be made to individuals (including students).
- Groups and organizations within the Town of Trumbull should receive first preference, keeping in mind our commitment to International causes.
- No awards will be made for political parties or causes.
- All requests for gifts must be in writing.
