                                       Guidelines for Grants

 The  following suggestions are made for guidelines, which must be developed for distributing the funds raised by the Trumbull Rotary Club to worthy causes.

 

  1. If an award request is submitted that is clearly out of our approved guidelines it will promptly be denied in writing by the President to the person who made the request, if a reply is warranted.
  2. No awards will be made to other Rotary Clubs, including purchasing raffle or event tickets. Individual members are free to donate or purchase tickets from whomever they wish.
  3. No awards will be made to other public service organizations such as the Lions Club, Kiwanis, and the like.
  4. No awards will be made to groups that solicit nationally, such as for all of the medical causes, national VFW, etc.
  5. No awards will be made to individuals (including students).
  6. Groups and organizations within the Town of Trumbull should receive first preference, keeping in mind our commitment to International causes.
  7. No awards will be made for political parties or causes.
  8. All requests for gifts must be in writing.
